A Dog's Life is a Cut Above with the Eden Hotel Collection

The Eden Hotel Collection, the AA’s Small Hotel Group of the Year 2014-15, has introduced a special pack for four-legged visitors at two of its South West properties – Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park, and Buckland Tout-Saints in the Devon South Hams.

 

At Buckland Tout-Saints, staff like to spoil their furry friends as much as they do their guests. The luxury country house hotel in Kingsbridge presents each dog with a pack that includes a personalised welcome letter, doggy treat and some doggy mess bags. There’s even a sausage for them at breakfast.

 

The hotel supplies a map and has put together a short guide on the best dog-friendly beaches and walks in the area (Buckland Tout-Saints is just a short drive from the coast), along with contact details for local vets, groomers and dog supplies.

 

Dog towels are provided by the front entrance, and there are treats on reception and bowls of water at the entrance and on the terrace.

Buckland Tout-Saints is a stunning William & Mary manor house surrounded by more than four acres of beautifully tended gardens and woodland. It boasts 16 bedrooms, including two luxurious suites, and award-winning cuisine.

Bovey Castle, in Dartmoor National Park, is a fantastic base for dog walking, with miles of moorland and nearby beaches (some dog friendly) to explore.

 

Dogs are provided with bedding and a bowl (cages are available on request), plus doggy treats and mess bags. The hotel also has a Day Trips for Dogs leaflet, available to download on its website.

 

Bovey Castle is a stunning estate with 64 individually designed bedrooms in the original manor house and private mews, including Grand State suites and Junior / Family suites. It also has 14 contemporary three-storey country lodges within its grounds.
